Every year, The Lee and Betty Johnson Memorial Charity brings joy to the community during the festive season while making a difference. Our signature event is the "12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive," inviting locals and visitors alike to don their holiday best, visit their favorite local bars, and donate toys for children in need. Join us in turning good times into goodwill.

Our Mission
The Lee and Betty Johnson Memorial Charity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building community and giving back through festive events and local partnerships. What began as a fun pub crawl among friends has grown into a heartfelt tradition that supports hundreds of families every holiday season.
Why We Do It
We believe that joy, community, and compassion go hand in hand. By blending celebration with charity, we foster stronger connections in our community while directly supporting families through our toy drive in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Police Department.
🎅 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl
Get ready to jingle all the way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue!
Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
Cost: Free to participate! Just bring an unwrapped toy 🎁
What to Wear: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies—get festive!
Where It Goes: All toys donated go to the Hermosa Beach Police Toy Drive.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
💖 Sponsor Us – Partner with us to showcase your business and support the community.
